Who are The Lanyard Ladies?
The Lanyard Ladies are the newest craze hitting the tri-state area. Our Birthday parties are “KNOT” to be missed. We teach children how to make friendship bracelets, lanyard bracelets and other creative crafts. Our hands-on learning experience is offered to boys and girls K to 6th grades. We encourage friendships in a fun, learning environment.
What is The Lanyard Ladies After-School Club about?
The Lanyard Ladies after-school craft club runs for 6 weeks. The club is held for 60 minutes. The club begins after school ends. We either travel to your location or offer school field trips to our location at 464 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY. We can add extra weeks onto the after-school club for an additional cost. We require a minimum registration of 12 students for a club to be established. There is a maximum capacity of 20 students in our after-school club. Pick-up of club members after the club ends, will be followed as outlined by the rules and regulations of the individual school.
How much does your After-School Club cost?
The school itself is never charged for having The Lanyard Ladies after-school club. Student signing up for the club are charged the club fee. We offer our 6-week program for a cost $120 per student. Our after-school club works a fund-raiser for your school. We work with the school district or through the school’s PTA. We donate 10% of the proceeds made from the 6-week club to your school. Schools can choose to register students through their school and a week before the club’s start date provide us with registration forms and full payment for the club. Or your school can choose to have us take care of the registration process for you and we will provide you with a check for the 10% earned a week before the start of the club. Parents can go online to our website and register their child and make a payment for the club. We will send out a reminder/welcoming letter to each club member one week prior to the start of the club.

The Lanyard Ladies Liability Insurance
The Lanyard Ladies carries a full liability insurance policy that covers all parties participating in the club program. A copy of our liability coverage will be provided upon request.
What will be taught during the After-School Club?
All supplies for club projects will be provided by The Lanyard Ladies. The club is always instructed by highly trained lanyard experts. All of our stringstatic instructors have had background checks and are fully qualified to teach the skills of bracelet making. Each week The Lanyard Ladies will focus on enhancing the student’s skills of making bracelets and learn how to make a new craft. Our club is always age appropriate and can be learned by all. We start with the basics of making friendship bracelets and lanyards and increase the difficulty as the weeks go by. We will be teaching how to make a Chinese staircase, candy stripe, lanyard pens, bookmarks, pipe-cleaner crafts, zipper stitch, box stitch, butterfly and more. Club itinerary changes all the time as we add new and exciting items for the students to make. Students always arrive home with a finished project and skills to last a lifetime.
What is The Lanyard Ladies refund policy?
A full refund will be awarded to any parent cancelling their child from the club provided it is at least 48 hours before the start date of the club. If the school or The Lanyard Ladies, cancel the club for lack of enrollment, parents will receive a full refund.
Behavior policy during club time
Our aim is to provide a safe, caring and fun learning environment for all club members. We encourage our club members to be inquirers, caring, knowledgeable, thinkers. We expect every club member to treat each other with dignity and respect.
Club cancellation policy
In the event of inclement weather, if the club has to be cancelled, a mutually agreeable time will be set between the school and The Lanyard Ladies to reschedule the missed club make-up.
